Cori Stockman is an associate attorney with Hughes and Hughes.
Ms. Stockman was born and raised in Burbank, California. Before she started her undergraduate degree, Ms. Stockman lived in Denmark for one year, where she learned to speak Danish.
Upon returning to the United States, Ms. Stockman began her undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. After spending a semester in Switzerland, where she learned to speak German, she completed her education and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Francisco State University.
Ms. Stockman earned her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine School of Law in Malibu, California, where she served as President of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. During law school, Ms. Stockman began volunteering her time at the Domestic Violence Prevention Project, where she helped victims of domestic violence obtain necessary restraining orders.
After spending sixteen years practicing family law in Los Angeles, handling family law matters (including working for many high profile individuals) involving custody, visitation, child and spousal support, domestic violence issues, and division and characterization of assets, Ms. Stockman moved to Orange County and found a new home at Hughes and Hughes, LLP.
Ms. Stockman is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating available for legal ability and professional ethics.
Ms. Stockman is an accomplished artist, having sold a number of her watercolor and acrylic paintings through local exhibits. She also enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, spending time with friends and family and her two chihuahuas.
