Marc H. Garelick

Marc H. Garelick is an associate attorney at Hughes & Hughes.

Mr. Garelick was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania and moved to California in high school.

Mr. Garelick received his B.S. from the University of California, Irvine majoring in Psychology and minoring in Classical Civilizations. He received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where he attended at night, while working full-time as a law clerk with a Wills and Trusts firm in Studio City, California. Mr. Garelick also started a Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, while attending Southwestern, helping low income individuals with tax preparation.

Before joining Hughes & Hughes, Mr. Garelick was an associate attorney at a high profile family law firm in Century City. He worked with high asset/high income individuals in complex, contested family law matters involving custody, visitation, child and spousal support, paternity, domestic abuse issues, division and characterization of community and separate property and guardianship proceedings.

Mr. Garelick is an active member of the California State Bar Association, Family Law Section, as well as the Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Barristers and Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is also a participant in the Jewish Federation, Young Leadership Division and Emet Partners Division.

Mr. Garelick enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include his love of gadgets, his dog and golf.
