Matthew LaCroix is an associate attorney with Hughes & Hughes.
Raised in St. Louis Missouri, Mr. LaCroix received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver in 2005 with a focus on International Business and Legal Studies. During his time in Denver, Mr. LaCroix worked as a branch manager at one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S. Mr. LaCroix also operated his own business training ice hockey players and worked as a scout before deciding to pursue his longtime dream of becoming an attorney.
In 2010, Mr. LaCroix moved to Orange County and began his studies at Whittier Law School, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2013. Mr. LaCroix was an International and Comparative Law Fellow and received certificates in Business Law and International and Comparative Law. During law school, he received the CALI award for legal writing; an award given to the highest scoring student in his class. Before joining Hughes and Hughes, Mr. LaCroix practiced general business advising, civil litigation and also worked at a local law firm practicing family law. Mr. LaCroix’s civil legal work included advising high net worth clients on their investment portfolios and tax strategies.
In his free time, Mr. LaCroix enjoys playing hockey, watching sports and analyzing current business, social and political factors that impact global capital markets.
