Stacey Stone is an associate attorney with Hughes & Hughes. Ms. Stone was raised in Orange County, California.
Ms. Stone studied Political Science and Public Policy at UCLA, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in 2001. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2005. While in law school, she participated in the William Hobbs Trial Advocacy Program and completed an externship as a Certified Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, where she argued motions, conducted felony preliminary hearings and prosecuted misdemeanor trials. She also assisted a Loyola Law School Professor as head legal research assistant and coordinator of a five student research team.
Prior to joining the Hughes & Hughes team, Ms. Stone practiced law at a civil and business litigation firm in Orange County where she gained experience in all phases of litigation including propounding and responding to discovery, law and motion, trial preparation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution, and trial.
In her spare time, Ms. Stone enjoys spending time with her family, attending her twin sons’ sporting events, going to the beach, skiing and reading.
