Brittney Aquino is an Associate at Hughes and Hughes.  Ms. Aquino grew up in Orange County, California.  From an early age, Ms. Aquino was determined to become an attorney and became interested in practicing family law while in college.

Ms. Aquino attended University of California, Fullerton and graduated with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Political Science and a Minor in Criminal Justice. While finishing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Aquino served as district intern for Congressman Ed Royce, where she volunteered before entering law school.

After completing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Aquino earned her Juris Doctorate with a Concentration in family and elder law from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California and was awarded an Academic Excellence Award in the area of Mediation for Spring Semester, 2013. During law school, Ms. Aquino prepared for her career in family law by volunteering with the Legal Aid Society of San Diego in the Domestic Violence Restraining Order Clinic, as well as interning for several experienced family law specialists.  Additionally, Ms. Aquino was the Vice President and Social Chair for the Child, Family, and Elder Law Society.

After graduating from California Western School of Law, Ms. Aquino worked as an associate attorney for a prominent family law firm in San Diego, California, focusing on the areas of custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, property division, validity of marriage, and domestic violence issues.

Outside of the office, Ms. Aquino enjoys spoiling her dog, Hope. Ms. Aquino also enjoys running, hiking, and Reformer Pilates.
