Candidate must be a member of the California State Bar. The right candidate will have experience: preparing for trial and evidentiary hearings; conducting and defending depositions; preparing Declarations of Disclosure; propounding and responding to discovery, and motion writing. This position entails a lot of client contact. The right candidate should be able to organize, prioritize and work well under pressure. Position title:

Reports to:

  • Senior Associate

Essential responsibility and duties:

  • Compiles evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents and transcripts
  • Prepares legal documents for attorney’s approval
  • Prepares notice and subpoena’s
  • Coordinating with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts
  • Manages court docket calendars, maintaining schedules and deadlines; generating status reports, logs and indexes
  • Prepares for trial by preparing trial notebooks, and client files

 Executive Assistant

Immediate full time associate attorney position available.

Job Description:

Executive Assistant to Partners and Principal of prestigious Family Law office in Orange County, reports directly to CEO. The Executive/Personal Assistant will be working on every facet of the business alongside the CEO. Key areas of work will be focused on resourcefulness, accountability, and dependability. Quick thinking and a "no job is too small" attitude is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling (planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, travel etc.)
Managing Short and long term projects
Screen phone calls, emails, mail and clients; route and resolve information requests.
Ability to act independently within established guidelines, maintain confidential information and materials, exercise judgment, tact and diplomacy
Aiding in the completion of all tasks, and assignments within the responsibility of the Executive Organizing and planning events both personal & business related
Participate in special projects and performs other duties, as assigned
Coordinate calendars for both personal and professional agendas
Assist with errands and special projects as assigned
Troubleshoot issues as needed
Answer Phone calls from prospective clients
